Core Advantages
Produced without chemical additives, it is formaldehyde-free, odourless, safe and environmentally friendly.
NRC≥0.8,The porous structure offers excellent sound absorption; a thickness of 5 cm is sufficient to meet sound absorption requirements in standard environments.
It stores air and reflects heat, providing insulation in winter and heat protection in summer, thereby reducing air-conditioning energy consumption and saving costs.
Sound-absorbing fibre wool is a sound-absorbing product made from chemical fibres such as PP and PET, characterised by a specific density and thickness. No chemical additives or solvents are used in the manufacturing process, and it is odourless. Compared with traditional glass wool sound-absorbing materials, it offers significant environmental benefits and carries no risk of fibre ageing or shedding.
The product features a porous internal structure comprising microscopic capillaries, pores and channels, enabling it to effectively absorb airborne sound waves. It is widely used in applications such as automotive sound insulation, wall cavity fillers, acoustic panels and duct insulation.
Sound Absorption Principle
As with conventional porous sound-absorbing materials, once sound waves enter the sound-absorbing foam, they are affected by its internal pore structure—which consists of minute capillaries, voids and channels—and this structure is capable of absorbing sound waves propagating through the air.
Once sound wave energy is absorbed, it cannot be reflected back into the space; instead, it is converted into thermal energy and dissipated through the air. After being absorbed, the sound waves are converted into internal energy, which is then transformed into minute vibrations that propagate through the sound-absorbing foam until they are scattered or dissipated.
